Shelley Harrison Rae
Shelley Harrison Rae, Coordinator, Performance for Ice Gate, is also a Director of Coast Cultural Alliance and Past President of the North Shore Writers’ Association. A coordinator & grant writer for not-for-profits, Shelley facilitates workshops, mentors writers and is an international presenter, community journalist and award-winning poet.
Jean Pierre Makosso
Choreographer, African Dance. Born into the vili tribe in the Congo, Jean Pierre grew up in the culture of dance. The tribe's history is passed on through dance, songs and stories. From Africa to Asia, Asia to Europe, Europe to North America, he has made people of all ages 'leap with joy like frogs'.
Maggie Guzzi
Choreographer, Contemporary. For 10 years Maggie worked on “The Beach Combers”. She received a degree in both Kinesiology & Dance from SFU and worked teaching: SETA, dance, drama & gymnastics. As a choreographer Maggie contributed to ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, ’Grease’, ‘Beachcombers the Musical’ and many ‘Celebration of Dance’ shows.
Gerardo Avila
Choreographer, Mime Dance. Gerardo Avila, M.A. has been performing professionally since 1974 as a solo clown, mime, magician & story teller in festivals in Canada & Mexico. He has been Co-director, writer & performer for Cirque du Soleil, Uzume Taiko, Snake in the Grass Moving Theatre & many other professional companies.
Brittany Robertson
Choreographer, Hip Hop. Brittany is a true born coaster and has been training and performing here since she was 9.She loves all different styles of dance. This past year she performed in the "Celebration of Dance", "H2O", and "A Love Story". Dance is her passion!
